Joins us on the fourth Wednesday of every month as we discuss the latest book chosen by the group. We read fiction, mystery, biography, history and everything in-between.
Synopsis: Comedian Trevor Noah's memoir recounts growing up in apartheid and post-apartheid South Africa as the child of a Black mother and a white father—a union that was literally “a crime.” Through humor and heart, Noah explores racism, poverty, resilience and the complex relationship with his fiercely loving mother.
Copies of the book will be available at the 3rd Floor Service Desk one month before the book club meeting.
