Learn to create art by painting with watercolors with Robert Pennor. The basics of form, color, technique and design will be explained as the class progresses. All skill levels are welcome.
Zoom info will be sent an hour before the event, and the class recording will be posted to our YouTube channel the next day.
WATERCOLOR SUPPLY LIST
PAPER:
- 140lb cold press or rough watercolor paper. (Quarter sheets or full sheets that can be cut in half, or you can buy Strathmore 11" x 15" pad.)
BRUSHES:
- Round watercolor brushes: #6, #8, #10 and #12
- Flat watercolor brushes: 1/2-inch, 1 1/2-inch
TUBE PAINTS:
- Yellow light or lemon yellow
- Yellow ochre
- Burnt sienna
- Burnt umber
- Cadmium red (medium)
- Alizarin crimson
- Cerulean blue
- Ultramarine blue
- Violet or purple
- Sap green
OTHER THINGS:
- Drawing board or gator board (15" x 22" or larger)
- Spray bottle
- 3/4-inch masking tape
- Palette with a large mixing area
- Roll of paper towels (Recommended: Bounty select a size)
- Natural sponge
- Liquid mask and an old small brush (size #4 or #6) to apply
- Sketchbook or pad (9" x 12" or larger)
