Learn to paint beautiful succulents and cacti. You’ll practice drawing a few different plants and then learn some fun, easy watercolor techniques to use on your favorite. Grades 6-12; Adults
We will email you a private YouTube link to view the drawing tutorial. You'll also have a space on Facebook to connect with the instructor and ask any questions.
The video and Facebook post will be available at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9 and stay open until the end of day Monday, March 15. You'll have seven days to watch the video, so you can go at your own pace.
SUGGESTED SUPPLY LIST:
If painting:
- Watercolor paper (or any thick white paper)
- Pencil and eraser
- Watercolor paints (any kind will work; the instructor will be using watercolor pencils)
- Paint brush (medium sized with a pointy tip, or whatever you have on hand; the instructor will be using a pointed round number 10)
- Cup of water
- Napkins
- Thin black sharpie for outlining (optional)
If drawing:
- Drawing paper (white, thicker than printer paper) or a sketchbook
- Pencil and eraser
- Colored pencils
- Thin black Sharpie for outlining (optional)
