"Strangers on a Train" (1951)

7:00pm - 8:00pm
Love talking about movies? This movie club is for you. At the beginning of each month, we pre-select a film, so you have ample time to watch it before the meeting.
Alfred Hitchcock directed this classic suspense tale, tapping into the evil that lies just beneath the surface of each of us. When two strangers happen to meet on a train, the conversation casually turns to a possible perfect crime: what if each committed a murder for the other, eliminating their respective burdens? There is nothing to connect the two men. No apparent motive for either killing. When one stranger follows through, the other is forced into a deadly web of extortion and police suspicion.
