Love talking about movies? This movie club is for you. At the beginning of each month, we pre-select a film, so you have ample time to watch it before the meeting.

Film Club presents Some Like It Hot (1959).

When Chicago musicians Joe (Tony Curtis) and Jerry (Jack Lemmon) accidentally witness a mob hit, they trade in their union suits for flapper frocks and hightail it down to Florida as Josephine and Daphne, the newest members of an all-girl jazz band. Their cover is perfect until Sugar (Marilyn Monroe), a lovelorn singer, falls for Joe/Josephine, and a mob boss from Chicago refuses to fall for their hoax. Some Like It Hot was nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including Best Actor for Jack Lemmon, and is the quintessential madcap farce.

Some Like It Hot is available on DVD, Kanopy and hoopla.
