Weekend Workshop

Spend a weekend in Boardman Cemetery learning cemetery restoration! Gain hands on experience identifying, cleaning and repairing grave markers.

During our workshop on June 24 and 25, attendees will gain hands on experience identifying, cleaning and repairing grave markers. Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days by the Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commission. Participants will receive an email list of items to bring to the program.

Saturday attendees are required to attend a welcome orientation at 9:15 a.m. in Meeting Room A at the Fountaindale Public Library.  After lunch, the workshop will contine at Boardman Cemetery.

Sunday attendees who have not attended an oreintation perviously, can attend an oreintation session at 9:15 a.m. at Boardman Cemetery, and be free to participate in the workshop later in the day.
